1. The Caterpillar 306D excavator is equipped with Mitsubishi's clean, low-noise, and high-efficiency large displacement 4M40 engine, which has a long service life, improved thermal efficiency, reduced fuel consumption, reduced engine vibration and noise. The engine meets the EPATier 2 and EU Stage 2 gas emission standards, as well as Beijing DB11/1-2003 and DB11/1842003, China GB17691-2001 national standards, and South Korea's National Environmental Association standards. The standard preheating plug can provide reliable engine starting performance at lower temperatures, and even when the air conditioning is in operation, the high-temperature configuration operation capability is still reliable.

2. Hydraulic system
The high-efficiency hydraulic system developed and produced by Caterpillar has improved handling and reliability, while reducing usage costs. The hydraulic system is an open system with two main pumps and an independent third pump that controls the rotation. When the control handle of the working device and the walking control lever are in the neutral position, the flow control system of the two variable main pumps can minimize the flow rate of the pumps. This will reduce fuel consumption, lower system noise, and extend the lifespan of hydraulic components. The optional accessory hydraulic pipeline allows the machine to install various working devices, such as hydraulic breakers, spiral drills, hydraulic shears, and crushers.

The Caterpillar 306D excavator chassis has outstanding stability and reliability. A 400mm wide three toothed track is the standard configuration of the machine. A stable chassis can give the machine greater ability to lift heavy objects. The two speed walking motor and sturdy track drive system enable the chassis to have excellent climbing and turning capabilities under various working conditions. Easy to separate track links and lubricated track wheels can reduce daily usage and maintenance costs. When the machine is lifting heavy objects from the side, this steel track can provide excellent stability.
